Emergency relief

During the initial weeks of the war in March and April 2022, very little humanitarian aid got through to Eastern Ukraine. Our Daily Bread did two things:

– Provided our partners in Bakhmut, Barvinkove and Sumy with funds to purchase products locally and give these to the most vulnerable groups in society, including homeless people and hospital patients.

– Paid for fuel so that our partner in Bakhmut could evacuate people from frontline areas in the Donbas. The funds made it possible to evacuate vulnerable people who lacked the resources to flee on their own.
