Place Project Reason stopped
Barvinkove Fuel4Food: a lot of humanitarian aid has been sent to the region but there are not enough funds for its distribution. This project meets that need. Became new project Hope for the Future in May 2023
Zaitseve (village near Bakhmut) Resilient Zaitseve: strengthening a village community in the Donbas Heavy fighting. Most villagers had fled by the end of August 2022.
Barvinkove Lifeline for Families: supporting vulnerable families in local communities There is now more humanitarian aid in the area and so the needs of the most vulnerable families are safeguarded.
Barvinkove Medicines Now: medicines for vulnerable elderly in local communities The need for medicines is still there but, at the moment, there is a far greater need for fuel to distribute the humanitarian aid available from other charities and NGOs. In consultation with our partner, we therefore ended this project to make funds available for fuel via our project Fuel4Food.
Barvinkove and Sumy Winter Wamth: distribution of bottled gas to older people so they can cook at home and helping older people pay their winter heating bills. Project completed
Barvinkove Hope for the Future: helping people who want to rebuild their lives and strengthen their communities. Partner did not have the time to continue the project.
